Thoughts about the hand:
Preflop:
Standard here, nothing no say. No reads on villain as far as I remember.
Flop:
We flop top pair with decent kicker and some nice future blockers here. I am not sure whether checking or leading here is the best option. As we are blocking straight draws with T♥:T♠: and have on
in our hand as well I think I like leading here more as we could take the hand down OTF and dodge some nasty turns or rivers. Although I think if we get x/r we have to fold.
I expect villain to call with hands like Qss+, AK, AQT, AA, JT98ss, 88, 77, K8, K7
Turn:
We are still blocking the straight and some flushes + holding top pair on this very wet board. I decided to bet big to make villain fold some AK, bad flushes or some weak two pairs like K8 or K7, but he ended up calling.
River:
River brings the flush and gives us the broadway straight. I don't want to go to showdown and let some weak flushes win the hand so I went for 1/2. Due to barreling all streets I could hold some Q or J high flushes very easily. Although this bet is a bluff-bet I'd say. Not a value bet.
So I want to make hands like weak flushes, not nut-straights, 88, 77 or AK which called turn or river. Is this range accurate?
Thoughts welcome.
