Fish is 61/4/af1.6 29 hands

"He calls down with 2nd pair bad kicker vs value TB on missed FD board "<--Notes

He also value bets too thin too big, a typical fish move, and value towns himself.

Granted, he was getting very unlucky here also, KQo vs J9o dominated, Straight vs two pair value towned himself on FDC + 4STRT board ip, AIPF AKo vs AQs, all in less than 29 hands so far,

That's 113BB won for me in 3 hands.

And then comes this hand below.

What would you do?

PokerStars - $0.16 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: 100 BB
Hero (BTN): 214.69 BB
SB: 65.44 BB
BB: 112 BB
UTG: 143.13 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 9♠ J♥

fold, fold, Hero raises to 2 BB, SB calls 1.5 BB, fold

Flop: (5 BB, 2 players) Q♣ 8♦ 3♦
SB bets 1 BB, Hero calls 1 BB

Turn: (7 BB, 2 players) T♥
SB bets 2 BB, Hero raises to 17.19 BB, SB calls 15.19 BB

River: (41.38 BB, 2 players) 4♦
SB bets 45.25 BB and is all-in, Hero ???

Thoughts?

I'd fold. Your history is not big enough vs him even if he is a fish.
I don't see him tilt shoving here. His entire hand he is playing like he is on a flush draw.
We must respect fish aggressive river bets and can't really call unless we got the relative nuts vs his play. I don't think this is the case here.

Sure, and calling here could be a victim of "Hot Hand Fallacy". He is a fish, yes, but he is getting unlucky here, imo. No one is this unlucky. So, we should fold this time.

I do not know. Calling might not be that big of a mistake with a straight here. He can also overvalue sets and 2 pairs on the river that makes it a call imho.

I'm sure calling is not a mistake either, I mean he is a fish and he doesn't even have a whole stack..

I called him because it breaks my heart to see him try so hard... Also, I believe in giving back to the ecosystem of fish. Sort of "Catch and Release" if you will.

The line villain takes and being a passive fish i expect mainly flushes so i don't mind a fold id likely just raise the min donk bet as well and treat it more like a check

I would snap him. You dont block any pairs which is great and i believe the straight here is a must call. Sometimes you would lose but the fish can also have all type of random spew. I think you have 30% here to call this one off

I like calling against such players, but if he has sets he should do that shove on the turn. There aren't so many draws that he could have missed. He should either have flush or very stupid hand but maybe the fold is better here

Thank you all.

All joking aside, so we make the absolute nuts on turn, the best hand possible in poker, and a fish shoves on a scare card on river, can you really fold your hand here? I really don't think so. I doubt any of you can fold this hand. In fact, it is impossible to fold this hand vs the fish because he can overplay so many hands that we beat and he probably can bluff here also.

Spoiler

I'm not snap calling this and I am not thrilled to call here but I feel that I MUST call here vs this fish in particular, and I think that you would too.
SB shows J♠ J♦ (One Pair, Jacks)
(Pre 89%, Flop 84%, Turn 3%)
Hero shows 9♠ J♥ (Straight, Queen High)
(Pre 11%, Flop 16%, Turn 97%)
Hero wins 125.94 BB
To be honest, other than the typical range of sets and two pairs that we beat, I thought he might have AA or KK here before calling.
