The story I'm interpreting here is that OTF he have a marginal hand that wants to continue but not that strong to just call a big bet. OTT I'm dumb founded already. Why suddenly check raise all-in OTT? The only way he is doing this is if he have full house. If you have a set OTF then the way to play it is not donk bet. We are going to check raise the flop instead of donk betting. Donk bet OTF means a pair maybe top pair or mid pair.

You bet the turn because you want value. He is giving you full value by check raising all-in just take it. You have invested 37bb already. It is too late to give up now when we are not 100% satisfied that we are beat. That is why you are here. You are confused also with his story.
