Opponent is regular solid player.

as played

river - I bet 80% for value hoping to get called AJ, KJ.

Did he miss his flush and turned his hand into bluff? I don't block any diamond.

Qd9d - based on my read he will not raise this kind of hand in middle position

JT - Probably, but can I call for a chop?

set of 8, 3, or 5 - Probably, trapping on the turn setting for a big river bet like this in position hoping BTN will call also?

I don't have the heart to hero call based on my read that he is not bluffing.

What do you think?

Sizing on river is huge. I would just bet turn and river around 55% pot.
If you had a flush draw would you check the flop as pre-flop aggressor against 2 villains?
You beat pretty much only over pairs that would most likely Cbet the flop as well.
Read less I would fold this as well with in mind you beat only a bluff.

Hey,

A good reg shouldn't check a set on such a flop with a fish in position on him. So, depending on how much credit you give him, you can discount sets from his flop checking range, but this is NL10 afterall. :f_pleased:

On the turn, you have to size bigger. Preflop aggressor should be capped here and you want value from the fish. Bet like 0.85$.

River is ugly. And on NL10 you should just be folding here without levelling yourself too much. Raise on the river = value, and I don't think you beat any of his value range. The problem is, your turn sizing is small and then you bomb the river, that doesn't make any sense and he could be getting creative due to your senseless line, but like I said, just make a disciplined fold in cases like that. I would put him on 97s without :diamond:.

Cheers!
