Hey team!
Was analyzing some hands for session 2020/06/17. There were 3 hands in which I lost about 60 BB in total and I believe it was ok my play, but I did not feel very good. The situation is when you have a good sort of premium hands on blinds and UTG and the pot is already opened. So in these cases, I come up with a 3 bet no matter OOP. The story is worsen when the villain calls and you hit nothing on board and then , there I am quite lost.
Have a look at these 3 hands.

Hand 1. Villain 25/11 and Cbet 50%. (46 hands)

Hero (BB): 102.5 BB

fold, CO raises to 3 BB, BTN calls 3 BB, SB calls 2.5 BB, Hero raises to 12 BB, CO calls 9 BB, fold, SB calls 9 BB

Flop: (39 BB, 3 players) 9♠ 4♣ K♦

Do you see flat calling a better option when you are UTG? I assume that should be the play when OOP but we may lose the value and we let the opponents to see free cards. Also 3betting allow me to win some pots uncontested but it seems to OOP, it should be avoided.
What is your plan in these situations? Do you 3bet only QQ+? do you flat?

Try to post 1 hand per thread. Than you get most of the time better discussions.

1st hand I would most likely Cbet a little bit more like 16bb against a passive villain. Turn is standard to fold on his huge bet. Cbet/fold is a option on turn, but tough to get much value and he will never fold a better hand.

2nd hand you could go for a thin value Cbet on flop and fold to a raise. As played you could call 1 time and fold if he fires again, but this is really tough line against a unknown.

3th hand I would just call out of position to keep the pot small and fold any flop unimproved. If I would 3bet with 3x raise and 2 callers in front of me would be at least 15bb. Flop is standard in a multi way pot. You can't really call with only 1 over card.
