PokerStars - 10/20 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (SB): 16 BB
BB: 34 BB

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q♦ T♦

Hero calls 0.5 BB, BB checks

Flop: (2 BB, 2 players) 8♣ 5♦ 5♣
BB checks, Hero bets 1 BB, fold

Spoiler

Hero wins 2 BB

I think, that GTO may check back here sometimes.

But I prefer to play exploitatively, as I just realized that even hand like 72o has around 26 % equity vs QTs. That is quite interesting.

I may still delay cbet, but if villain has 8 outs on the flop, that means that he hits quite often, don't he?

What is your thinking process here and should we ever consider checking back here readless?

Here is the calculation (I am new w Flopzilla hehe)

Thank you for your thoughts.

Kind of same as previous hand I commented about J high on AA2. Just check and go from there. Some Td9d would be nice to bet flop.

Pretty much the same indeed and min raising pre-flop is a decent option as well I think.
Cbetting (C=Continuation) is only possible if you had raised pre-flop.

I don't like the raise pre, I'd rather have a hand I don't mind raise/folding like Q5s than QTs. But I agree with the Flop check, these boards hit the BB usually quite hard and he has a lot of gutshots/gutshots with overs etc. that won't fold easily. And of course he has more 5x.

If minraising it's going to be call versus shove. Close with limping as well imo.
