normally i would advice you to reraise preflop.
other players might step in because of the good odds you created for them.
but a coldcall is not a bad option because you have position.

but my top choice would still be to 3-bet him to around 270.

as played i like your check on the flop.
you have a gutshot draw + a backdoor flush draw, so you really want to see another card.
if you bet here there is a chance that he might reraise you, and you have to fold to this reraise.
so a check behind is good. because thats what position is good for. you see some informaton (the flop, and his check) and can react on it.

on the turn he checks again, so a semi bluff will work verys often.
he checked twice so bet and see what happens. he might fold some low pairs you are still losing to.
but a check behind wouldnt been horrible either because you have some draws, and if he doesnt have a pair you are still best.

but i like your bet
