First of all, I realize I don't really have a range to call with A5o, putting that mistake aside, is it an easy fold? Or should I call or even raise?

Shove and get it in on the flop imo but it's a fold preflop with A5o vs mp this is a very loose call pre.

Yeah, I should've folded, tbh I got a little distracted and caled it anyway, so a shove would be +ev in this situation?

Ye for sure sb can have all the sets possibly some over pairs along with some flush draws and depending how fishy they are they might even have some 2 pairs as well so ye it's most definitely +ev to get it all in on the flop. The sb shouldn't really have 22 33 44 or 65s here but it's the micros and people hate folding pairs.Given that people are far more likely to have pairs here imo rather than the 65s your going to be 64% favourite vs sets.If you take pretty much the worst case scenario of 22,33,44,65s your 50/50 but factor in some fold equity on the flop and some other hands your going to be ahead of villains range.

Got it, that was actually my line of thought, but since I've been away from online cash games for a few years I still have some doubts regarding those scenarios, that's what actually happened.

Pre-flop is indeed a fold. Flop is standard. You only lose against 56 and that isn't to likely. It's to bad you are up against the same hand that was freerolling for a flush.
