So HJ open, I call having nicely connected hand and suit. BU behind 3bet and HJ call so I think this is mandatory call.

Now we got to this flop and having such low SPR I thought donk betting could be nice option to try and create fe. Though maybe check and try to get free turn would be good also? I think if we have especially some of 7x with no draws it would be nice to donk bet and protect?

Hand felt too strong to be x-f anyway.

There may be some benefit in donking, since the preflop 3 better has to act with the BB also in the pot, and therefore maybe should fold some overpairs.

Nevertheless, I would prefer just checking and hope for a free turn card.
If you had two clubs, I think donking would make more sense as additonal equity if you would get called...
The problem with donking is that you can't fold to a shove considering stack and pot sizes.
