Hello,
I would like to know how wrong I was for float betting on the turn. When I placed the bet I was already pretty unhappy about it. Are there any arguments to defend this action? I did not have a huge amount of information on villain but I knew that he did fold 2/3 on float bets and that made me place the bet. (Yes it's that awful) I found it strange that he didn't just double barrel on a pretty wet board like this.
In my opinion this turn bet was a very poor decision. My JT blocked a couple of JJ,TT, (QJ) options so there are fewer hands that will fold against my turn bet. I should have taken the opportunity to see a free river card and checkback.
Should I have recognised him inducing a bet to shove on the turn?
