HJ open and have decent support with JJ so went with call. BU is unknown but both blinds passive preflop.
SB donk bet and he has dont these donk bets pretty often. At least once with dry A2xx on AT2 flop with flush draw. HJ call and I were thinking of just calling having 89 blocking some straight draws. But decided to go for small raise to form below SPR1 for turn if someone call. Both folded though.
There is no point in not raising the flop. I'd make it a tiny bit bigger though to make it easier for them to call the shove on the turn
Logic for flop call would be to strengthen call range and allow villains to perhaps put money in middle on turn wider than they continue on flop. When I block straight outs, have nut gutshot and bd fd there would be less need for protection.
But yeah without specific reads might be just giving villains cheaper chance to outdraw.
I would also raise flop to deny cheap turns, maybe size it a little smaller, but I think it's fine.
Although I agree that is fine to strengthen your call range, I would rather do this versus one opponent.

I highly recommend not to think about balancing 3way plays on microstakes^^
Yeah I don't care about balancing in these games itself but it doesn't mean slowplaying could not be better for current hand in vacuum.
This one might not be best hand sample but sometimes I have played some nutty draws passive in multiway to keep those weaker ones in play. Especially like 4way on flop, I call from BU versus bet and two players behind. Different spot though.
