Villain was active reggy looking opponent. 27/21, 10% 3bet, 120 hands. No specific postflop reads. Had been fairly aggro postflop overall.
Anyway open raising and easy call versus 3bet. Flop monster with top 2+ nfd so I were ready to stack off or at least call versus x-r. On turn went for half pot thinking I want to keep villain range somewhat wide in the pot with having nut fd also and possibly getting villain to x-r some AQJx type holding as semibluff.
Now there is obviously possibility for AAxx but is that big enough danger to just check turn? Feels too scared imo. I doubt we should bet-fold turn as then check seems lot more sensible option. Of course if its mainly AAxx when villain raise we are really screwed. With just 13€ behind I thought that I cannot really call if I think its just AAxx mostly and if there is enough other stuff then I would be pot committed on most rivers anyway so went with shove. Pot with call would be 63€ so would need to be good like 15% of time on river.
Would someone go for bet-fold trying to get some value and believing its too often AAxx when raise does come? Well maybe we should just check turn as villain has lot more AAxx. Though I could have some AAxx myself as we are 224bb deep at start. Wasnt thrilled to be deep versus this BB villain but on other hand SB was 65/50/25 maniac so even oop I wanted to be deep versus him.
