A2s from BU - defend vs CO and cold 4bets

I would fold but given the price calling probably isn't terrible either.

hmm. It's a "cold"(?) 4bet, which seems very strong. Fold is probably good here.

As played: With ur TPWK on the Flop and 1:diamond: I c myself calling here, otherwise ur call Pre is bad. Remember that any big PP would cbet flop. Wouldn't u want to get value from KK or QQ?

I disagree on some parts of this. If you had KJ/QJ here, you would also "play for" flush, straight & 2p, but having KJ/QJ is considerably worse than A2, so having TP here is still very relevant:

With A2:
-Villain has only 8 combos of AK
-12 combos of QQ/KK (and you beat these hands)
-1 combo of AA

With KJ/QJ:
-Villain has 9-12 combos of AK
-9 combos of QQ/KK (and these hands beat you now)
-3 combos of AA

Villain could definitely play QQ/KK this way so I'm not folding, + you have backdoor straight & flush so that's definitely a call as played for me.

Yes, I see that now. Against QQ+, AK, AQs I have 53% equity. I didn't think that. If I include AJ, JJ my equity drops to 45%, still good to call.

Question is how to continue if villain keeps betting, do you go broke unimproved?

I would give up on most blanks against a turn cbet. While I can see recs bet KK/QQ in order to know if you have the A, because they don't want to bluff catch and play a guessing game, I don't see them barreling turns.

I would not put AJ/JJ/AQ in a min 4bet range - in general. Of course some recs would do that

Calling preflop is fine with those pot odds in general but if we just fold to half pot cbet on this flop then folding is better.

Yes, folding on the flop was a mistake. I know this now. It was counter-intuitive to me how good my equity is OTF.
