Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, 1+0.25 Tournament, 30/60 Blinds (5 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP (t5815)
Button (t3570)
SB (t290)
BB (t7345)
Hero (UTG) (t925)

Hero's M: 10.28

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J♠, Q♥
Hero bets t925 (All-In), MP calls t925, 3 folds

Flop: (t1940) 5♠, 6♦, 5♦ (2 players, 1 all-in)

Turn: (t1940) K♣ (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: (t1940) A♦ (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: t1940

My chips were really short and I was about to pay another BB next hand , I did not get anything worth playing for a long while and my stack was slowly shrinking so I went for it.

Actually, I think I made a very big mistake of judgment here because this is the bubble and I should not have lost my patience, the player on the small blind was much shorter than me and the blinds were not that big yet.

My question is than, which hands should one play in this delicate situation?

dont loosen up that much...wait till the blinds increase until u have 12bb or less..and then u have easier decisions..

this hand is definitly a fold

Hello,

Easy fold.

Best regards,
Rensu

Yes, I understood it's an easy fold, it was a very bad decision I made. The question is in this particular situation should I only play the monsters or play a little looser considering my small stack?

Your stack ain't small, you still have pretty good chances to win the game. Don't give up so early, losing some pots doesn't mean that you have lost.

Hi all,

You should play pretty much the exact same from earlier positions as you would at the start of the SNG => very tight.

From the later positions, CO BU and to a smaller extent MP3 you can start raising a couple more hands as a blindsteal. Here I would fold QJo. QJs we can raise to 2.5BB as a steal.
