River raise on double paired board 85J5J

I have hand here i recently played that i feel was an interesting spot. Its butn vs bb where hero is in the bb. I had some prior history with this opponent but it was a standard 3 bet 5 bet shove spot and it might not pertain too much to this hand but i thought i mention it and as i only had a few hands on them.

I defend my bb with AJ off to a butn steal. I take a xc line on the flop and turn and and decide to go for a half pot donk on the river when the board double pairs and i end up with a full house. Doing it with the hopes of getting called by Ahigh, some pairs that were not counterfeited, 88s full and the odd 5x. Im obv thinking about j8 and 55 here but its highly unlikey given i have the J blocker and its hard to make quads.

The larger sizing on the flop followed by a smaller sizing on the turn caught my attention right away but it wasn't a concern until the river. I began to level myself that they can easily be bluffing in this spot. Then I talked my self out of it quickly and thought about the last hand we played and i figured at these levels players are good enough to try get you off a chop, which made alot of sense to me. I was still ahead of other full houses as well as a few other hands. It was very close for me.

Has anyone ever heard of Zeeboos Therom?

Tell me what you guys think?

Fold, call or should I have xc a bet on the river instead of going for a block bet?

I would 3bet pre AJo on BB vs BTN. I would make it 12BB. Only time, I consider not 3betting AJo vs BTN is, when I know the BTN is super nitty.

As played, is just a cooler if you lost to 55 or J8. I think 3bet pre is good here to fold out something like J8 > 55.

I hear you, makes sense if they are a nit. It was hard to tell at the time and we just got out mp vs co 3bet 5 bet spot. I mix up my calling and 3 bet range in that spot to balance my range but I will defiantly look at adjusting my bb 3 bet size to get those hands out. Thanks.

Ok pre (but you can 3bet), flop I prefer a check raise, as played cc river (cr if he defend 5x, but with 55 or J8 you cr this flop). After his push or he bluff some 8x or you are dead vs J8 and 55. This is a call for split imho, then a fold is better imho...

Preflop is fine - mostly calling here, with some 3betting mixed in.
Flop is fine, I think we are doing some raising only when we have AJo with the A♥:
Turn is interesting, I dont believe his bet makes any sense from a GTO perspective. I think our hands is too strong to just call against such a small bet.
River - I wouldn't lead, but as played you have to call. Your hand is way too strong to fold. Unless you have a hard read that villain has 55 specifically.
