I think I should had 3 betting him on flop instead, or just fold. What would you guys do?

for me it's fold or raise. If you don't have any info on the villain that he is cbeting veery light I would fold the flop.
If you have some info, then raise can be the way, but still, you only have a bluff catcher...

I would isolate pre-flop a little bit more. Especially on NL2 I would make it 10c (4x and 1 extra per limper).
Funky flop lead of villain, but against a random fish I wouldn't try to bluff him/her of the hand and give up with only 2 cards to improve. It feels fishy with the odds you get and I understand the call here.That's a little bit the same issiue on turn. You get insane good odds to call.
