AKo - How to respond to donk bet?

call and see the turn you have position with 2 overs and some back door equity villain is likely checking turns quite a bit unless they have say slow played AA or sets so we can realise some equity vs those checks and fold turn vs a bet unimproved.

If I understand your suggestion, you want to call the flop and then on turn when villain check bet it to steal the pot even unimproved.
Is that correct?

I didn't understand it like this. I think we call on the flop and check behind turn.

Hmm, I dont like that as most of the time you will not improve, that means if villain will than bet the river what will be your action?
For me I would call the flop, on Turn I would fold to bet, or bet to check and on river check behind if not improved...

Same here, not happy with any of the available options, really. That is why I folded on the flop.

Yep id be very happy to call the flop vs a donk bet and check back turns and just realise the hands equity you might consider a semi bluff on some J or Q turns.I don't mind the fold on the flop though tbh vs the larger sizing so i don't think you did anything to wrong.

call Flop. even if he only has pairs, your equity is decent.
and he could have some bluffs which you are ahead of.
