Zoom NL 2

Hero: $4.93
(30% VPIP)

Villain: $14.07
(20% VPIP)

Hero raises to 0.06 on CO

Villain reraises to 0.20 on SB

Hero reraises to 0.60 on CO

Villain reraises to 1.5 on SB

Hero reraises all in to $4.33 on CO

Villain calls $2.83 on SB

Hero shows A♠:K♥:

Villain shows A♦:A♥:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My thought process was that I could make villain fold:

T♥:T♦:,

J♥:J♦:

A♥:K♦:.

Against Q♥:Q♦: I'm flipping.

Against K♦:K♥: I have 35% equity

Against A♦:A♠: is only 12%.

So I thought this was a close spot.

What do you think about this hand?

When a person 5bets it's 90% AA and 10%KK. This is to me an easy fold.
I would just call his 3bet, since you're IP.

btw: don't overrate your AK. even when people say it's a coinflip against pairs. You are always behind a few %, so shoving against a wide range of pairs might in the long run be -EV. I prefer to try and take the pot down post flop.

Especially so deep you you don't want to get in a situation you are flipping in best case.
it would be nice to know more than only the VPIP of villain.

Thank you both of you for your input.

Next time I will call the 3 bet in position and take a flop.
