If you valuebet on the turn why not going bigger ? go like 12 bbs hands like 77 TT still call or they dont call at all, and its more unlikely you get bluffed, and against a raise easy fold.
As played against unknown, i would fold, sometimes call but prefer fold because we somewhat commited. pots gonna be somewhat like 80 bbs on the river.
I dont like the play, if you check the flop check the turn, and let him fire his range.
Why not c-bet flop?
Tricky one as played. Against a tightish opponent I dont mind folding but against a competent opponent I think there are too many draws, semi bluffs to fold but it would also suck to face a big river bet
Any info on the villain in this hand would be nice.
Read less I would go for a value Cbet on the flop and her-evaluate on further action. Turn is basicly a blank. Only 44 gets there. Easy value bet spot.
Not sure what to think of villains raise. Semi bluffing seems strange. Board is dry and raising with a flush draw seems optimistic on a paired board.

Are you raising hero here on the turn with those hands?
What do you do if hero shoves over you?
What would be your gameplan on river if he calls? Whether your hand improves or not - What do you do if he checks river, what do you do if he bets river?
I think raising here on turn with those hands just doesn't leave you many good options.

They are bluffs, you would play them as if you had a queen, to balance your value bets. It all depends on what you think your opponent is calling the check-raise with. Still have outs on the river to hit aswell

I think those hands are too strong to play as pure bluffs.
Jack-high is too strong as a semi-bluff?
I think your trying to say we should just call with our decent draws that have the right price and that makes sense but sometimes I think it can be better to be aggressive with them , you only hit a straight on the river roughly 1/5 times, if you bluff your opponent you give yourself more ways to win and if you get called you can still hit your hand or continue bluffing while repping a strong a range. If you just call and miss the river its harder to bluff the river with a credible line if you dont want to just give up on the river.
