Villain is passive AF: 1.2
PokerStars - $0.05 PL Hi FAST (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 131 BB
SB: 383 BB
BB: 106 BB
UTG: 132.2 BB
Hero (MP): 229.4 BB
CO: 79.6 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has A♣ 8♠ 9♠ 8♣

I think it is fine to raise against the UTG limper with that kind of hand. I have some nuttiness and also some connectivity.

UTG calls 1 BB, Hero raises to 4.4 BB, fold, fold, SB raises to 9 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 4.6 BB

Flop: (20 BB, 2 players) 2♦ T♥ 7♠
SB checks, Hero checks

I am hitting and openender on the flop and a very low bdfd. Maybe not really relevant. I think checking back is the best line, because i dont want to be potted and also blocking no pair.

Turn: (20 BB, 2 players) J♣
SB bets 7.6 BB, Hero raises to 42 BB, SB calls 34.4 BB

Now I am holding the nuts and limper is betting pot. Time to pot it for value.

River: (104 BB, 2 players) 2♠
SB bets 100 BB, fold

I dont think that the passive limper will pot it with 2xxx. He has the nuts or at least a full house, so I have to fold now.

Seems well played imo. Villain might occasionally hold slowplay from flop but would be mostly worried of JJ.

Our hand should be just bluff catcher and we don't block any full house combos so not nice hand. Turn was also rainbow so there are less natural sort of bluff combos. Some KQJT villain could turn into bluff theory wise but that is likely not happening or bluffs in general.

If hand started 100bb deep so river would be SPR 0.5 I might crying call but in this case easy fold.
