PokerStars - $0.05 PL Hi FAST (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 167 BB
Hero (SB): 118.2 BB
BB: 359.4 BB
UTG: 110.8 BB
MP: 148.2 BB
CO: 152.4 BB

Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has 9♦ A♣ J♦ 8♣

I do have a double suited good connected hand with aces blockers so I think a 3 bet is ok in this situation.

fold, fold, CO raises to 3.4 BB, fold, Hero raises to 11.2 BB, fold, CO calls 7.8 BB

Flop: (23.4 BB, 2 players) Q♦ 2♣ J♣
Hero bets 22.4 BB, CO raises to 64 BB, Hero raises to 107 BB and is all-in, CO calls 43 BB

SPR is about 4. I have a nut fd + gs + middle pair blocker (blocking 2 pair and maybe hands like JJxx). My performance against QQxx is not very good, but against hands like KQJT I have a lot of equity. I am not sure about the shove but I would say it is ok to get broke on the flop. Playing x/c wouldn't be better. Am I right?

Turn: (237.4 BB, 2 players) 8♦

River: (237.4 BB, 2 players) Q♣

Preflop is good and flop we are happy to stack off. We can use half pot or pot on flop imo. Though I think this hand is strong enough it would benefit from half pot as we have many components in it with nfd, bfd, gs and pair. But potting definitely fine also. Stack off ranges in 3bet pots are pretty wide and most likely player pool stacks off way too wide in reality. If villain has KQJT or better its just big setup basically.
