Turn I'd rather bet $0.38 or $0.40, I was being clumsy with the bet slider and taking too long...

On the river I figured he has two pair or a straight a lot? I thought he was connected to the lower part of the board ... no 3bet preflop so no good ace, I have an ace ... and since he never raised I think he does not have a set the majority of the time?

But do I make a valuebet on the river and how big?
I was expecting two pair or better to pay me off, straights raise of course and I lose the bet..

I would bet 1/3 and call if I know he is capable to find bluffs there.
If I dont know then I would bet 1/2 and fold to raise. Main reason why I dont want bet big is to guarantee call from all his two pairs.

River isn't a great card, but a half pot thin value bet seems alright. Offcourse if villain shoves you need to fold. I expect villain will only shove the river with a straight.

I would cbet 1/3 on the flop. And then bet 3/4 pot on the turn.

But on the river I would have bet 1/3 pot bet for value and as a blocking bet.

He can still call you with worse 2 pairs in this situations and if you get check raised then you have an easy fold.
