I think your preflopraise was fine (3x his raise), altough push flop is the best idea - you invest more than half of your stack to this cbet.

preflop is fine as common reraise size is 3x the initial raise size + 1x for each caller of the initial raise.

On the flop your c-bet is more than 50% of your stack and the board is quite draw heavy, so just push directly when it's your turn.
