10-9s 3Bet Pot

OTT you have a gut-shot and there is a FD on the board, meaning even if you hit 2 of your straight outs it will make the flush like what happened here. What you want to do is calculate the pot odds you being laid first.

So on the turn when you bet and get check -raised, the pot is 3.32
the pot was 3.32, villain check-raised an additional 2.54 so we add the two together
3.32+2.54= 5.86 <-- total pot

you have to call 1.27 to win 5.86

now you use this formula to determine the equity you need to make the call

price of calling/ pot+price of calling

= 1.27/ 5.86+1.27
= 1.27/7.13
= 0.178 or about 18% equity you need to be able to make this call

I input your hand into equilab versus the range you assigned villain and you are only getting 14%, also this does not account for when one of your heart outs comes in on the river to bring in the flush, which could be bad. You want to always look at the pot odds your getting in the hand and then decide if you should continue or not.

I would have folded on the turn if I found myself there.

Hi, that turn minraise is never call.
Also preflop 4x re-raise 3Bet is questionable. I would fold on fullring, don´t know If it is playable on SH.

Even shorthanded I would fold pre-flop after the big 3bet.

As played I would check behind the turn with the straight draw. Tough to get a decent hand to fold and if villain raised you need to fold. Offcourse against a min raise it's really tough to fold.

T9s is standard call versus BB 3bet versus MP preflop.

I would also checkback the turn.

As played the minraise is tricky because you have reverse implied odds here, and also JJ is very likely with this line from BB.
Its probably a fold on the turn against that line with the reverse implied odds here.
