BB is tight sort of reg. Usually I dont see him making hero calls and I also think he is underdefending BB. So I open and not really hand I would open versus all opponents. I think its borderline in gto. Flop favor me and there is nice blocker value with A and Q but not that much playability.

On turn decided to second barrel as I dont want to give free card for draws.

What do you think about river? I think showdown value at this point is low (mainly beating some trips and perhaps like KQJx) and I do expect villain to fold less than boat and potentially some of weaker boats like JJ. He can probably also have some straight as QT without backup likely just call flop.

I think some KJxx is potentially better bluff combo though having less showdown value but this one felt ok as well without flush blocker as I would expect those to fold. Perhaps calling some flushes with good blockers.

Seems like a hand I would play the same as PLO fish. I expect you can still get value with a bet on the river.

Cheers,

You are blocking everything else than flushes, so if you think he is folding a flush the it makes sense. I am just not sure how often he folds a flush if he calls the turn with a flush draw.

Turn call looks pretty scary to me, as he shouldn't call it with a naked fd. He could easily have a boat, I doubt he will fold that.

As long as BB doesn't overfold his blind vs openraises from SB a lot I would fold your hand pre

Hand is open raise in plotrainer with PLO50 structure though it is like -0.45BB so very marginal. BB is expected to fold 29% and I think this guy was folding more. Though if he is folding more that is probably bad for my postflop line. I think in villain shoes its tough to call with flush at least without e.g. KJ as strong blockers or A I suppose. Villain is very likely good enough to understand that any flush is just bluff catcher.

Yeah, tight regs dont call with random FDs when the board pairs. I'd put such player on range like FD with backup, straight or good A / FH.

I guess theorywise river cant be that bad. We dont have much and expect villain to fold pretty much everything but good FH. Same time I dont think it's absolutely necessary to play such big pot with weak holdings against uncapped tight regs range.
