I would shove preflop. Risking 28bb to take down 5bb very often is good spot. Plus often we are flipping with nice overlay if someone calls. Usually we can assume CO, BU and SB to fold as these overlimps are rarely strong hands. Raising any other size has quite a big issue as 77 is not playing well postflop. As played we do hit set and have roughly pot size behind so just shove. If flop had been like 755 or Q73r you could slowplay if you want as there would not be much need for protection. On this very wet flop where there is huge amount of hands that can give action so slowplaying is very bad idea. Plus of course lot of turns will weaken our hand relative strength. More importantly if e.g. flush completes hand like A8 or T9 might not call anymore whereas it might do so on flop.

Seems like a easy push on the flop indeed with less than a pot size bet left. It's to bad villain hits top set this time, but most of the time the CO shouldn't play a better set like this based on the pre-flop action.

In this case I referred with overlay to chips from limpers. When we shove usually everyone folds or one player call so we will get few BB "extra" from people folding.
