So villain doesnt wait for BB, have 50bb stack and 3bets versus my open. I decided to go for wider 4bet thinking its somewhat more likely villain is just willing to gamble. Normally hand would be call to 3bet. Would you widen your 4bet range in this spot?

His 3B is cca 15 bb, unknow opponent with 50bb only call, KQJJss from UTG - Rise / Call hand, so there vs unknow regular play.

Hello there, i do not like the ss fact, but in that situation against a new player joining with the bb and making his 3bet with a wide range, just call the 3bet, also if the hand is Ds, imo

Actually I like it.
I implement it myself vs shortstack or if I am ss. Especially if oop and vs hi % 3better.
Maybe threshold is KQQJ-T and if A its a slamdunk vs many opp.

I don't like 4betting here. It is fairly likely that villain is a recreational player after posting the blind in CO. BUT, that doesn't mean that he is 3betting very aggressive right away. There are those guys who just gamble first hand for sure but most don't. On average I would assume that Blindposter population 3bets under 10% here (maybe even 5% as it still is CO Vs MP)

Yeah I think it's reasonable to widen 4bet range slightly from default one but this is taking it too far.

If he is 3betting really wide, you are flipping vs his Axxx range. If he is at least a bit more selective, you are behind his Axxx range. And pretty much vs any non-maniac range, you are really small favorite. Can't really see a point in shoving pre, when you are not a decent favorite unless opponent is 3betting everything.

I would want to have A in my hand for sure in these situations if I am widening my 4bet range.
