I wonder if others on this system have an similar issue. It happened now several times on Windfall (similar to Twister), that as soon as the first person gets kicked out, my table freezes while the other remaining player is able to keep on playing, which results in diminishing my chips without anything I can do, beside closing and opening the table.
Cannot be the internet connection, yesterday at the same time I was playing on a SnG table.
Happens to me only in Windfall. It simply nothing happens for me on the table. If I have an issue in SnG I get at least a reconnecting icon.
Thought first it might be a issue since I was playing in the browser (cannot use the software due to Linux), but also happens on the Android app.
Someone experiencing the same?
Hi wickus,
I am playing from time to time on the webapp as well when I am at work (yeah for working for POKERstrategy, gonna test our partners!).
Because I play only on a small screen, I do have to resize quite a bit and that seems to me causing the issue sometimes, as well. I am not sure why it would do that specifically on those games. In Tournaments I have never had the problem.
On the other hand when playing from home I am using the software and there everything goes super smooth.
I will now tell you that I forward that complaint - but I am not going to be very optimistic here as the release cycles are pretty big and incorporating and testing all user feedback is a mammoth task, too (so, this is specifically not BetOnline, but everyone operator)
Would you be able to use any emulator, not sure if Wine still is a thing?
Sorry for the problem!
Hi SvenBe,
thanks a lot. I also wrote to them yesterday, hope my findings can help to sort out something.
I tried with Wine, it was quite crappy when I used Linux Mint in the past but is much better with Manjaro, as it seems, but unfortunately the software isn't installing on this. Maybe I need to see if there is an update or setting missing. I also tried to install another software were it told me that it is only running on Windows 7 upwards. I will check further. Unfortunately the Virtual Machine solution is also not working since BetOnline is not allowing to play on their software in a VM.
I will probably stay then with SnG or at least play WF in the browser. There the window is quicker closed and reopened due to the automatically opened lobby.
Cheers
Wickus
Finally they credited me $3 which I am happy with. Haven't tried WF recently but the 3 or 4 games I played immediately after my remark to BetOnline haven't caused any trouble.
I tried wine again, together win winecfg (I guess that was it) I got it to start and login but then it crashed. My standard wine was set to 32bit, with winecfg it is possible to also start in 64bit.
Since I got a warning in the early days for using the software in a VM I am not going any further for the moment.
