PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4.00+$0.40 Tournament, 800/1600 Blinds 150 Ante (5 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button (t48105)
Hero (SB) (t43518)
BB (t98543)
UTG (t60543)
MP (t19291)

Hero's M: 13.82

Preflop: Hero is SB with A♠, 8♦
1 fold, MP bets t19141 (All-In), 3 folds

Total pot: t4750

He was a rather tight player and he pushed the hand before, so I give him a very tight range and I fold.
Is this ok? Or do I have to call here?

With read I think I fold here although marginal. A8 is not a hand I want to be calling off half my stack with, especially with chippie behind me.
If you call and BB shoves you are committed to calling off the rest.

he is a tight player from your read and he doesn't need to push loose since his stack is not that bad and he is on CO
your stack is good so I think A8o is a fold and is not even close.
and if you want to look him up then is way better to reshove instead of calling

+1

easy fold.
your hand is not that strong, with more then 10 BB he is not THAT desperate so he might have a real hand.
you dont have to gamble here it would be horrible to call
