Hello,

Please advise if you think I played the hand correctly. I guess that probably my bet OTF should have been bigger, but having the ace of hearts made me not being too afraid of draws coming in and at the same time I did not want to chase away my opp if he had two high cards or some pair. Also, maybe I should have checked the turn. No reads on the opp.

Until the turn you're play is standard I think. If villain is passive you could Cbet more on the flop, but a sizing you take is fine for sure and protection.

On the turn I would most likely check/call. It's tough to get value or a better hand to fold and if you face a raise you are behind and with the really small raise I would call as well. If it is a shove I would fold.

Cheers,

Would it be wrong to check this flop? I can't figure out whether I'd be looking to check-raise or check-call

It depends on the villain in this hand, but board is wet and you don't want to miss value. Offcourse AA needs not to much protection, but if hero hits the flush it's tough to get value.

Flop x-c is fine option. Getting raised is pretty ugly after all. As played definitely check turn and evaluate on villain sizing. If he bets like pot it's not that bad to fold either.
