CO is maniac playing almost every hand. Extremely bet happy postflop. I would usually pot turn but because of CO tendency to attack checks I decided to go for x-r. BU is reggy looking player on solid side from what I had seen. So his call was much more worrisome. That said I did assume he will have fairly wide range versus this villain. Like I doubt he is folding overpair with any sort of support or top pair. SPR on turn is 16 or so. So I x-r pot and BU call.

River is A which is not too great as some two pairs are very reasonable. But at same time not sure if I can get those to fold and there is still fair amount of showdown value. So went for x-f. SPR is close to 1.

Interesting hand for sure. I would consider to lead the flop multi way for value and protection as PLO fish for 2/3 pot and re-evaluate the action.

Turn I would lead for sure. If you check/raise like now it's tough to get a better hand to fold or get value except a draw maybe.

River seems standard.

Yeah flop donk bet would probably make some sense with this hand. Though getting raised would put us into quite dirty situation. At least versus BU.

Actually not because we have a clear fold. Gutshot is not enough support to ramble oop deep. That´s also why I like such dry leads on the flop. Ott if someone calls I follow up a second-barrel (also bet-fold).

We have top2+gs on the flop, which indeed would be nasty situation if getting raised. I would check the flop too, as bloating the pot with hand that has a lot of bad turns (making it hard to barrel big on the turn) is not a good idea.

I would have played the hand in the same way. On the flop if maniac bets I would check-call as we are deep.

Couldn't we just call turn and call it off against the maniac on a lot of rivers? With x/r he will fold all his bluffs or was he also the type of player that commits to the hand as soon as he is involved?

Yes we can. It's more about our overall strategy versus that maniac. Do we want to trap more, or attack his wide betting ranges with raises. 100bb deep it would be an easy raise on the turn, but being over 200bb deep and oop with maniac is a situation that is hard to play with either strategy.
