AA 3bet pot OOP bad run out

I feel you man. So many nits on the micro's these days that you would consider folding AA as an overpair. However I think we are way too much ahead in this spot that folding would be the wrong play.

100%, especially on NL2. No reason to check the turn. Yes you lose to some 2 pair / straight combos but you can’t be too timid and lose values. Plus, it does look like you’re just barrelling scare cards too.

You both right, I think checking the turn gave way to some of villains weaker hands to bet and with the river running out the way it did, he could be betting AQs here and thinks he is ahead.

Its also very weird coming back to 2nl, 2nl in 2014 was nowhere as aggro as it is in 2022, it seems I am constantly playing 3bet pots and the ranges in 3bet pots are a lot wider sometimes. It's at the point where I am thinking I should be treating a 3bp as a srp.
Don't get me wrong, I am winning this month and last month (playing about 2 months now, 20k+ sample), but my win rate isn't as high as I thought it would be, the game is very beatable but I am having to spend more time away from the tables looking over spots, when when 10 years back, I could get by with half ass'ing it.
I like it like this, I am enjoying poker more than I did before and its lit a fire in me where I want to get better, because I refuse to get owned, at least until I get back to 50 and some reg flats AA in the bb and lets me barrel.

Of course on pokerrooms are more nitty players than aggressive on micro stakes (idiots can't 3bet kings, aces preflop, slowplay very big hands) but get a lot of lucky for example You get top pair, he get overpair after limp AA/KK preflop.
When You get set too hard get value, I don't remember when go all in preflop with aces or kings on nl2!!! It is not normal.

Yes its very nitty, but the nits aren't the nits of old, I would label them calling stations, as once they flop a pair in a 3bp they will call down if you value bet thinly. I want to have a look at my DB once I got 100k sample and see how often players flat JJ, QQ, KK to a 3bet. The other thing I've noticed, is the delayed cbet on the turn with AA or KK, or the check call, this is when villains are OOP. No one is doing the old bet bet "I'm all in".

It might also be me, it's been awhile since I've played international, so I could just be very very rusty.

I would consider to 3bet at least 30c out of position and get it in on the river with at least a half pot Cbet on the flop and turn.
