Not too much to say about CU.

Might not be the best hand to 3b OOP vs CU though.

We got a flush draw and a gutter being OOP OTF.
I definitely missed a bet here. My OOP 3b range should consists of a lot Ax holdings.

Turn gaves us a bottom pair plus another gutter. This is where I thought about betting.
Villain bets half pot and after considering our low equity draws I decided to fold.

I think I was too focused on the other table, there was a lot going on on there.

Would you guys bet flop/turn?

3bet doublesuited low rundown should be ok.

but if we go for 3bet preflop we also have to play these A highflops withour range advantage. that means we have very often AA while the caller doesnt so we cbet this flop very frequently.

you have a great hand to set up a really hard turn decision for any ace. not only you have a low flushdraw but also backdoor fd diamond plus the 8 opens some turn straightdraws.

so without hesitation I cbetflop 1/2. I would do this with many topset+backupdraws so my opponent has a very hard time raise the flop to exploit me.

vs raise I easily fold my draw. most of the times I see a fold or a call. If turn is not hearts but helps further with extradraw I happily pot turn and give villain tough decisions since I rep Aces all day long and he doesnt.

as played you need to call the 1/2 potsizebet on the turn: you have a wrap+flushdraw. even if you have to discount the odds due to villain might have a better flushdraw the straightouts alone should give you the 25% you need for the callto be breakeven

but itseems handhistory is broken in the end: you checkfold but win the hand!?

I would rather 3b a hand like that vs EP open in position then I know exactly where I stand.

That's why I said that I missed the bet there.

I actually missed that I was holding an inside wrap. Damn...

strict theory would just call preflop but think the perfect rundown is still fine
and then what efkay is saying

These kind of low ds rundowns are something that are not that great to 3bet in general but from SB I dont really mind. From BB or BU I would be very happy to just call as this kind of hand does ok in multiway as well with its connectivity.

You can cbet your whole range on flop for half pot. Also this hand doesnt really want to x-c but it sucks to x-f. As played on turn x-f is last thing I would do. I think x-r is also fine option as we just have so much potential with this hand. But its sort of funky line and might be looked light.

I thought they perform very well against tight ranges.

Well issue is that 3bet/4bet game is ultimately game of domination. You want to have top two pair when opponent has weaker two pair. Or when you hit pair and flush draw you want them both to be bigger than opponent's. When we 3bet hand like 7654ds it's pretty rare to end up in situation where you dominate anything.

When facing 4bet we are doing ok versus tight range but we are still in scenario that loses us money. Just less by calling 4bet than folding to it. But if we 3bet versus EP open we should expect to run into 4bet fair amount of time.

Difference with call is that we then keep our preflop investment often much smaller and will have board coverage on lower flops. Then with high SPR and preferably position we can put pressure on those low to mid flops more often.

Let's take example flop of T♥:6♥:5♦: and we have 7♠:6♠:5♣:4♣: after 3betting EP open. It's fairly strong hit, right? Two pair and oesd. How would you play this being in position or out of position with SPR of 3.5?

Well, I wouldn't be thrilled flopping this. Two bottoms and only OESD unblocking both flushes.

I would bet/fold 50% in position and OOP slightly more, around 60-70% with no intention of getting it in.

If that was something like two top then I would of been more happy to get it in. Even more so with FD.

Well its good that you notice this example spot is not one where we should look to stack off. I see quite a lot of population just stacking off in this sort of spot. I believe we should approach this spot with passive line whatever we are IP or OOP. Point is its still fairly good hand with two pair and oesd but its not doing well versus range that wants to stack off on flop.

But another point is that flopping top two with these low rundowns is very rare. Even when it happens like lets say flop is 762r. There is actually fair chance we are running into something like 89Tx, 78TJ etc. if villain is willing to stack off and we are far from crushing equity wise. So my advice is to be careful 3betting these hands.
