1) c/c turn, c/c river, if he often bluffs, give him the chance to do that and invest as little money as possible

2) good, other option would be cb turn, call safe river, but i think betting the turn is the slightly better play

3) good, capping the turn would be too much as his donkbet suggest he has a decent hand as well as his turn 3-bet, i think he often has a set

4) call flop, we are almost always beat, villain wont fold a better hand very often and we are going to see a river card anyway, with the hope to see it as cheap as possible

Posting several hands in one thread is i think a little bit better as it is faster to answer them that way. I would say no more than 4-6 or it gets very messy. :)

Thank you!

1) But he is a fish. He will call with any cards. I was relativly sure to be best at the turn. Shouldnt I bet to get value from worse hands? I mean, why to give another freecard?

2) As read in many articles and also the thread in the gold forum, we play our good draws aggressivly. As I have an OESD (although its the bad end) and a pair, I thought, this might be the best play.

Is it the difference that he donks instead of raising a PFA who makes his continuation bet?

Yes, I think thats correct. His donk implicates that he has hit something. Therefor I am beaten right now, but have outs to improve.

A raise into a preflop raiser who bets out the flop would be ok, right?

1) the cb as pf aggressor is often a slowplay + if he really has nothing we can induce bluffs but i dont see valuebets on either turn or river

4) the difference is simply the situation;
don't just raise teh flop, think about why you want to raise it! As a short exercise maybe write down the reasons why you would raise the flop and try to figure out why they are good or why not and i will take a look at it. :)

Ok, let me try.

I just stoved this flop situation.

What range can I give him? He is in the BB and is quite loose. He will defend his BB nearly always.

Even with 40% range, I have an equity edge:

Board: Jh 9d Tc
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 50.778% 48.72% 02.06% 200163 8457.50 { 8c8h }
Hand 1: 49.222% 47.16% 02.06% 193772 8457.50 { 44+, A2s+, K2s+, Q4s+, J7s+, T7s+, 97s+, 87s, A3o+, K7o+, Q8o+, J8o+, T9o }

Shouldnt my raise be for value? He has an AF of 4.8, he donks and raises ANY hand HU in a steal situation.

I dont believe him anything cause of the given reasons. So, I dont see my raise as a protection but as a value raise.

equity is not everything.
How much money are you going to get from worse hands; how much will you lose vs better hands.
I think he will fold a lot of worse hands and 3-bet quite often; he might call us with worse hands like a K, but with such a hand he often has lots of outs and those are almost the only worse hands calling (K/Q high that we beat)
Thus our raise is not for value anymore against his calling range and can go for just 1sb more to sd on favorable boards for us or make good river folds. :)

Hmm ok.

Two more questions:

- If he were PFA and makes his continuation bet, raise it or still call it down?

- Was the range that I gave him in stove with his stats and the position ok?
