PokerStars Zoom, Hold'em No Limit - $0.01/$0.02 - 6 players
Hand delivered by Upswing Poker

UTG: $2.63 (132 bb)
MP: $2.54 (127 bb)
CO (Hero): $2.00 (100 bb)
BU: $9.01 (451 bb)
SB: $2.09 (105 bb)
BB: $2.00 (100 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.03) Hero is CO with 9 9
1 fold, MP raises to $0.04, Hero 3-bets to $0.12, 3 players fold, MP calls $0.08

Flop: ($0.27) 5 4 2 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $0.18, MP raises to $0.36, Hero calls $0.18

Turn: ($0.99) T (2 players)
MP checks, Hero checks

River: ($0.99) 6 (2 players)

1) How should I deal with this flop reraise?
2) On the river, I think I actually have an easy fold.

Villain is just raising the flop, but villains min raise is suspicious. Read less I wouldn't fold a over pair.

River completes a straight with any 3, but not sure villain would over bet this, but you can only beat a random bluff and makes calling tough.

Cheers,

1) I don't see problem as you played it.
2) Yep, he has the str8 since the flop and checked turn for you to bet. Trash it on the river.

This seems right.
The line he is taking just seems so strong. Bet check overbet. We are hoping for a busted flush or over cards.

Hello,

On the river you have to win 36% to call profitably. And it depends on how many bluffs the villain has.
I think it's a cryin fold, if you weren't blocking some FDs maybe it would pay.
