I go against the wall a lot of times on spots like this, but anyway, I'll share my thoughts...
From PF, BTN range can be somewhere SCs, pairs, suited broadways.
In his range, the only things beating you are TT and A8/98/87 (I don«t have more 8's in his range).
TT definitly doesn't need ptotection, as neither does 98, as if a 9 comes for possible str8, is a card for 98, not for your range. IP, I don't think there's also much need to protect A8/87. So his raise will most often be a pocket pair obviously under yours. Deppending on villain aggression, wouldn't be something strabge for me to shove flop. but without info, call is good to keep villain betting his entire pockets range.
OTT, 6:cubs: doesn't change, except for 97 and 66. I doubt villain has any of those and considering S-P ratio, I would shove, expecting to be called by a lot of JTs+, 99, JJ..., accepting I could be way behind, also.
Main point is I don't "buy" their raise as protection, IP, in dry boards. Sometimes it costs me, sometimes it beneficts me.
