CO: 144.8 BB
SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB
Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has Q♠ A♦
fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, SB raises to 11 BB, fold, Hero calls 8 BB
Flop: (23 BB, 2 players) A♠ 8♦ 9♦
SB bets 11.4 BB, Hero calls 11.4 BB
Turn: (45.8 BB, 2 players) K♦
SB bets 23.2 BB, Hero calls 23.2 BB
River: (92.2 BB, 2 players) 9♠
SB bets 57.4 BB and is all-in, fold
Villain is unknown.
PF: I call the 3bet because I'm in position and SB 3bet vs a BTN open should have a wide range.
Flop: we hit top pair, backdoor nutflush and it's enough to call when villain leads here.
Does it make sense to reraise here? The draws are likely paying, but I don't see weaker aces paying a reraise in a 3bet pot (maybe AJ for one street?)
Turn: we're on the nut flush draw, although that king hits his range way better than mine (KK, AK).
I considered shoving here but it didn't make much sense once the guy was 2nd barreling a 3bet pot and not likely folding here in general, right? So I call.
River: doubles the 9 and he goes all-in.
I fold. Against PF aggressor, 3 diamonds on a paired board. Idk, I didn't want to overvalue my top pair.
What would you've done differently here?
Thanks.
