With 2 flush draws on the board you can raise OTT. OTR you could assume you are up against value heavy range. When you face such a min 3bet or min raise V usually have it. Still there is one hand in V's range that you beat and that will be A♠:4♠: . But seeing that the field is quite monekyish we could add the other witch could justifie a call.

I feel like the over bet on river saved my stack because the reg tried to induce me in the wrong way.

I guess so, but I would normally raise 12bb on the river. Now it will be a lot tougher for villain to 3bet bluff.
Not sure you would raise like this as bluff.

If I was in villains shoes I would shove with the nuts. This looks really suspicious and 55 is the top of you're range in a spot like this I think.
