Hi guys, in past few weeks Ive been 3betted a lot with these weird doublesuited trash hands. There was little discussion about the subject in kyyberis blog. It was some gto-line with deep stack in position but these ok reg plo25 have been bombing those hands 100bb deep in position MP vs UTG and 125bb deep from sb VS CO. I mean like versus top 15% range prolly under and maybe 40% since I was tightening up momentarily versus semitough field. This cannot be gto right? Especially that SB hand goes against really fundamental stuff in plo and there aint that good players in small stakes cause why would they still be?

Ofcouse I lost to those fckers <3 , why else im ranting about it? But some input would be welcome.

yepp in the spots youve mentioned kq76ds isn't a 3bet. it depends a bit, if the co is very wide and opens more like btn, kQ76, 65ds could be 3bets in theory, although applied to you, sounds like you probably have more like mp open and we would just want to 3bet until KQT*ds. what i want to say, i think many players dont have that wide variety of adaptions/ differentiations and more like a fixed overall gameplan -> ds and somewhat connected somewhere (KJ95) -> good to 3bet

think a good tip about that, that it not just switches to complaining about preflop hand selection here , would be trying to improve and be aware of your 4bet ranges. first of all against active players of course and especially oop, but also ip we not just flat close to everything, AJds would be 4betting a ton, for example.

From my experience there is fair amount of people in these stakes who simply way way overvalue double suitedness using even weaker combos than you listed. Like today one guy opens MP with Q963ds even though he had not been that active overall. If that hand had been ss I am sure he would have snap folded but it's not really that much better even as ds.

Yes I can see some kind of trend last year "regs" at ppl pool starting to 3b those ds trash.
Had one hand when I open utg 65bb bottom 3b I 4bb AA he call KT73:f_cool: Think they got some idea from YT or smth.
And they are not loking much at position or stackdept it seems.
ps. think u need at least KT76ds vs at CO open? ds

Solver does 3bet some semi-disconnected Qxxx ds hands. That might have given some the idea that all disconnected ds junk is 3bet. Or they have seen 3bets with those disconnected ds hands (that are really small portion of solver 3bet ranges) in streams/videos, and just thought that it's the thing to 3bet them. Or they just think it's profitable.

If it's something that they don't do always, there is a high chance that it's mental game flaw. They get upset or annoyed, and just want to "punish" opponents.

For gambling KT73ds is nice, has 40% against all ranges and will hit something often (=reason to stack off). It's quite easy to think that as those ds junk hands have 40% equity on average, they don't need to gain much FE to become profitable. That would be right, if there weren't reversed implied odds. The lower the draws and cards are, the higher the chance to be dominated is. Those hands will get the money in with lower equity than estimated on the flop. Of course it's easy to think it as a cooler and just keep doing it.
