Hi all!

So as all everyone wants to know history.
Old fish who gambled money etc., before learned to play poker.
Learned to play poker with different poker streams and also by watching better players at tables. Also sometimes try to learn with some sites to play.

Have being playing poker almost 5 years, going broke multiple times but still have been managing paying all life expense's, rent, bills, beers, etc.
Fish at Texas Holdem, but crusher at Plo. If i am crusher at PLO how i am broke right...? Well long story but easiest to say bad money management.

Mostly have being playing low stakes PLO 20 - PLO 200. And most common is PLO 20 - PLO100.

Because my monthly expenses did get so high cant support my self with only playing poker, could ofc but real reason is also health and big expenses, with stakes that i currently playing. Because i have lacked my health this has being biggest reason of my game cant considerate for the game and cant crush money from other players.

This year until this month i have made only about 20k this means made like 2k per month playing poker , mostly playing cash games. Sometimes i play tournaments but because i like to play for 1 - 2 hours that i can take a break to reset my toughs this is much better. Ofc I can win from tournaments as they are even softer than cash games, but don't play them as u have to usually sit like 8h minimum Infront of computer.

Brag stories with biggest wins by byins.

PLO10 5 hours 130 byins, played at Microgaming, opponent was big fish and funny think he had picture that he is a bully, LOL XD.
PLO20 MicroGaming 120 + 10 or 20, with rakeback, don't that much remember with rakeback but something like that.
PLO100 Ipoker 11k + 2k with rakeback or something like that.

Well cant really brag about losing days but they can be tought as i have loosed 100 byins in different stakes in couple days or even few hours as playing deep stack games, Which i do prefer more as usually players dont know how to play deeb stacks.

What i want to do in these period of times is;
Only playing 6 tables as game is suffering more than those 6 tables but if i play 6 cash and 2 tournaments thats can be okey with good health.
So as i said exercise and also lose weight like 10 -15 kg as iam 180cm and my weight is now 110kg. Have done this before!
Get a poker coach as its still better time for your use to learn somethings new or see your mistakes what you cant see .
Save money and make stable poker bankroll, as i have not mention that loused pervious roll on crypto coins, not that much but big money, but also other normal thinks.

Anyway starting this projekt as being drunk, so lets see if i want to update this blog, If people are really interested i could update my projekt for my jorney of time.
Also i can coach someone for PLO free of charge one or two players this maybe can help my game also, but i also want someone to coach me that play bigger stakes, etc...,

Best regards from Finland!

GL being drunk might not be the best motivation to start but it seems you at least see the right parts of the puzzle. Hope you keep blogging!

Hello Semipaisti

If you want to make pictures in you're blog you need to be a bronze+ member.

The easiest way to get a bronze status you can use 1 or more of our free money offers on poker rooms you don’t have an account yet. If it you already have signed in for a room you need to read the instructions well and it can take up to 2 business days before you get the free money. If that's not a option you can buy a status-upgrade.

Maybe the https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=523971 is interesting as well.

Good luck with you're poker adventure :gl:

Cheers,
SDK1987

Started this blog while being drunk, but not playing when drunk no worries.

No need for a bankroll, my pockets are not that empty while I am partially broke.

I don't know why I need to add pictures, from being drunk or going on holiday? Some pictures of cats would probably be nice and calm after tilting sessions. :f_love::f_love::f_biggrin::f_love:

What a bash this has been at tables.

Have being playing at Ipoker and have to say its has been hard, when everyone is limping, calling with every hand etc., Hard to understand when to c - bet donks or not or trying to make tarp. Playing higher games is much easier, i know this sounds weird but you can adjust much better to opponents who have some understanding of the great game PLO.

Anyway funny hand from today. Trying to remember it as it was. PLO25
6 players. UTG folds, MP (100bb) limps, CO ( 500bb) raise, BTN call, SB (ME 500BB) 5566ss 3bet, BB fold, MP call, CO who repots, BTN folds, SB (Me 500bb call), MP calls, Button fold. FLOP ; QJ5 Rainbow, SB check, MP check, CO raise full pot, SB raise pot, MP went all in CO all and SB all in. Cards open and as i was right CO had dry AAxx without any help. But surprise surprise board runs QJ5 A X and pot over 1100BB was lost.
This was not played at Ipoker.

So sick but i like to play deep as players are making a lot of mistakes with deep stacks.

Cheers and Beers:f_love::f_love::f_drink::f_drink:

Hi all.

Little update from this project.
This has not started as i had been thinking, i have gotten wrecked at tables witch has been affected my game to play even more poorly that i have being playing. And playing deeb stacks has its own effect on the game when playing under rolled.

I have overplayed some of my hands on tables, have not folded my middle sets etc..
Also noticing that i get bored playing 6 tables and i start to add 4-6 more tables while not watching what opponents are doing at tables. This i have actually started to managing and fixing this problem to not play more than 6 tables at once. But occasionally playing 6 tables and adding 1-2 tournaments is fine when tournament play is more straight forward to play until the end of stage.

And playing with small roll has its own effect with my mind set where i just continually watch how much my bankroll is like every 2 minutes. Small roll also affect allot on a game i play, i start to hesitated that should i 4b versus button 3bet or making hero calls etc... And ofc losing streak effects gameplay and confident at tables.

Also playing small stakes at IPoker is tough as the rake is so high at Ipoker PLO20, while it is beatable but 10% rake is brutal but i have good rake back which is almost 50%. Meaning to be profitable on those tables you have to have winrate 11bb/100 hands, witch is not hard to achieve i have managed to have even 20/bb winrates over some period of time but winrate 10-15bb/100 hands is more close.

I think this challenge is going to be hard because my time is really limited when i got back to working. And i cannot grind enough hands to stabiles variance to my end. When working and 8 hours + 1.5h traveling to work leave me around 5 hours to grind or even less if i have gym day or social life etc.

To stabilize variance i try to avoid playing deeb while being under rolled for the games, this means i will play
3 different sites and leave after have managed to win from tables. (Not hit and run!)

Plan is

Deposits,

Site A = 400€
Site B = 400€
Site C = 400€

And start from this plan.

Few hands from my play.

Player on button was total donk who were calling, betting and flipping interesting hands. My mistake from my end was not to 3bet from SB this semi connective trash hand with stacks we had. By checking river i tough no draw completed and gave opponents opportunity to bluff, Oh boy i was wrong!

So foolish of me to stick it inn here with middle set, with action i got back from my opponent there is always 100% QQ set if the opponent is not total donk. My open is perhaps too loose goose.

THIS IS NOT HOW TO PLAY! KKxx, but the opponent was total nut who were 3betting and 4betting etc hands. As i thought he has total garbage or dry straight draw, this is why i staked while blocking some straight outs versus opponent by holding KK8X. But playing KKxx like this is usually losing game 1000%

Normally in this situation betting 1/3 of pot is play to do and fold to full pot bet. But thought he is probably gonna overplay his hand, so went for check raise. Its really common to opponents over bluffing when they are on the Button vs SB or BB.

Again same maniac! Don't know should i just be calling on flop butt betting full pot versus maniac is much better especially with some turn or river could be difficult. Against thinking player calling or semibluffing is way to i would normaly play.

Just cant beat games still, variance is like women one day its happy, another day its not.

Lines below are my default lines.

AA94ss: WP

AA99ss: Would start by checking flop. Pretty crappy flop for your range and our hand is not really strong enough that we are happy to go allin imo.

QQ33ss: Would likely check flop. No flush blocker and 432 offer very little draws. Also two pairs or weaker sets unlikely. Point being its tough to get calls from weaker. Also would use smaller bet size if betting. Once opponent raises our big turn barrel its usually boat so folding would probably be best. In general we should be somewhat careful with underboats but barrel is still totally fine here as boats should be rare and now its good we dont have flush blocker. At least if we assume to get three street from flushes. If not it might be better to check turn.

AKJ5ds: Just pot flop. Not good enough to trap but definitely good enough to pot this low SPR.

AKT5ds: Pretty nasty flop. We dont have club, 7, 8, J or Q. All cards that would increase fe for cbet. So would just check and fold to half pot bet As played I think turn x-r is actually pretty nice option. Especially versus aggro.

AK93ds: Just wondering if I prefer half pot or full pot. Its sort of hand we really want to keep villain in with dominated fd which should fold to pot bet without support. But at same time hand doesnt really have much going in form of playability. Bit stronger definitely just half potting though.

JT98ss: Would not mind to lead this on flop. I think for x-r we would prefer to have pair blocker with wrap so like T987. As played turn lead is good as we obviously cant fold on this turn anyway so taking fe on our side is good.

AAJ2ss: These ones suck to lose. Opponent going bananas with rainbow rundown.

KJJ5ss: Would fold preflop. As played post looks fine. We dont need to go bigger on rainbow flop and villain being short stack. Him being short though creates issue that we kind of lack the ammo to put that pressure on. This play might have gone through if he had more behind.

AK62ds: Just call preflop. This hand doesnt really push preflop equity advantage. E.g. if I check this versus 50% range in oracle we have 50.3% preflop equity. If villain connect on flop in anyway he is not folding so flop fe is not that high either. With something like AKJ8ds we would have 56% equity versus 30% range.

AKQJsss: Not hand that pushes again that much equity advantage but better than one above. Flop is clear pot versus anyone though as played.

AAT3ds: Yeah seems to be god running maniac. These guys are surprisingly often dominating tables. But yeah sometimes they also come crashing down from that huge stack in couple orbit.

AKQ8ds: Versus non maniac I would just call versus 3bet.

AQJ6ss: Just call vs 3bet. Again this hand versus 50% range has 50.5% equity. So do we want to just gamble or keep SPR higher and gain edge postflop?

QT99ds: Again kind of meh play. Are we happy to be flipping? We can obviously go wider for 4bets with pockets in general as they push preflop equity advantage but this goes too wide. If it was QQT9ds it would be totally fine. Now sure if we get BB to fold we get some dead money but still seems thin.

KJT5ss: Dry top two on very high SPR spot. Just x-c flop and let opponent barrel.

K774ss: Yeah as you said not the greatest hand. Nasty runout postflop.

QT95ds: It is super deep spot but with nut wrap and fd cant go that badly wrong with call or raise. Especially versus very wide range. On turn we should ask if we have any fe though. So if this guy just doesnt fold and we lack any showdown value it can be better to take free card and realize equity for free. But in general if we take flop raise line we should shove turn imo as that what our value range would do as well. If we just call flop there is not that much tough turns though. We can call on any blank and Q high flush is probably unfoldable versus player like this. If turn pair board and he bets huge its fine to fold as sometimes he will have that boat.

But yeah it seems like you are too eager to flip versus this maniac at least. These guys can get under ones skin and its easy to get some form of tilt from it. But I would recommend to check what type of hands actually push that equity edge versus wide range especially if we dont have any fe with 4bet.

Yeah, this is true i am too keen for 4bet opponents especially Maniacs. This Maniac is same old opponent who i have crushed earlier. Also when i have seen him 3betting hands from SB and etc, K1073 rainbow and similar choices with other hands. Mine 4bets are not that out of line with him, but yeah its better to 4bet more quality hands.
Earlier when i have played versus this Maniac i have took his stack many times and saw him deposit more to tables that enabled me leaving with chubby stacks! He did get me little frustrated, cant deny that.

Have to also say that i have busted my small rolls with 4bets to zero. At Unibet and Ipoker. Playing versus maniacs. So because of that i am keeping small break 1 week or 2. Frustrated also how i being running but as i have chosen bigger variance style with 4bets so cant just only complained for my bad run. Before reloading and start again. Next mission at tables is less 4bets and more time to think my actions, i do sometimes play too fast and clicking buttons automatically.

Anyway fun hand from Unibet a week ago.
Playing ofc Maniac, who likes to 3bet any suited trash and call 4bet with suited trash. Action went somehow like this if can remember hand completely.
I open from MP (100bb) KJ107DS , Flush Maniac (100bb) 3bet from CO with 10735DS, i 4bet straight away as there is trash there over 99% of the time. Flop 38Q and we flop second nutflush draw K high and gutter, surprise surprise he wins with pair of 3.

Really in redart town!

After this went to play on Unibet. Have to say are entire player pool on crack there or do they have AUTISM and DARWIN mental problems at the same time? U 3bet there 5 callers or they just continue to call really amazing hands or 4bet and they call 50% stack with some set mining. Also running there bad butt not as bad as in Ipoker.

Few hands from Unibet.

Seems like time flies, though i posted like last month but it has been almost 3 months ago.
Lets update our Project.

From last post i have been training like 3-5 days on PLO trainer, over period of 4 months. Probably should do much more training.

Run it up from 200€x 2 deposit my roll to 10k playing almost only at Unibet. Had to take something from bankroll so its half from what i have won, so bankroll is about 5k.

Failed on my losing weight project :(. But there is still time, losing about 10kg is not that hard.

Now i have a problem, i have noticing that i cannot achieve high status of rake back on Unibet so I am thinking that i move almost entirely my games to I Poker. Where i have almost 50% or more rake back with rake races. Or leave 2k on Unibet and transfer 3k to I poker, to play plo50 - plo100. I am just losing to rake too much, without good rake back deal.

Games are so juicy on Unibet so hard to decided. They are juicy also at I poker with weak regs.

Achieved 10k / out of 30k. But in reality roll is 5k.
I have still time to make it till the end but this is unlikely with this time that i have to play.

Anyway if and when i strike back to I poker pool, i gonna start probably update more if i am not too lazy.

GL at tables!

Should fold on flop, especially when opponent is tight and ok thinking player. When he is potting on turn that made me think a lot that he is making a trap versus me. He understand that potting with ULTRANUTS on turn don't make any sense in a way and that made me confused by going all in or fold.

I doubt you can fold flop with pair, AK and nfd. On turn though I would heavily think of folding. Reggy player is not going to raise weaker for value. Theory wise he could perhaps use some set+straight flush blocker as semi bluff but very very few players really even think of play like that. So my assumption would be that we are dead here 90+% of time.

Does that play make sense with straight flush from villain view? Well it's catastrophic line if hero finds fold with nut flush. Also another issue is that it will force hero to fold his bluffs. Well sure we might not have bluff that often with this specific turn card as lot of straight draws complete but we should still have some. So main good side in turn raise is that pairing river might kill action with other lines. But still kind of least favourite line for me on turn. Both bet and x-call make more sense to me.

Oops, i meant to wright that i wanted to fold it on turn my AK and nfd. I sometimes wright while i playing so mistakes are made. But yeah meant that folding on turn vs thinking reg opponent.

Lets finalize this project.

Main goal was 30k, achieved goal about 12k in this period of time. So i failed.

Thinking to start new project.
Not sure if i gonna continue here, is it possible to change blog name afterword's, so that i don't have to open new thread?

Also does anyone know how to shutdown HUD when starting Poker Tracker 4? Meaning that its opening automatically and that is annoying.

Go to the top of page on your blog and there is sizable "Edit" button on top left. You can change blog name from that.
