Hello, I have another hand :f_drink: from a live MTT of 50$. I don't know what else I could have done, I think it's standard play but impressive how AA can get cracked like that.
I was pretty happy with how I was playing in this tournament and with Villain, whom I had position to, had played a few pots, 3-betting him a lot making him fold and also getting thin value out of him in pots. I guess he got kind of agitated with me and decided to call me up.
I am attaching the hand as I recreated it online. Also relevant to the hand, the 3♣: was accidentally flipped by a player when folding. Seat 1 is the BTN.

I would most likely Cbet more against someone that called a 6x raise. You can easy make it 14k for value and protection.
As played the pot is 47k with a big blind ante of 2k. You have still 79k behind. I would Cbet around 25k with the intention to shove most rivers. Now you're Cbet is so high that you are committed if villain shoves.

Thanks for finding the time to reply!
So you think I should have c-bet on the larger size on the flop and smaller on the turn?

Even if I had put 14k on the flop and 25k on the turn, I don't see any way I could fold this to a turn shove with the pot being already 77k and I'm left with almost 49k. I would need to call 49k to win 77+49=126k. I have to be good 39% of the time. Aren't I? But you are so right, on the turn I was committed, after doing the math I would need to be good 20% of the time. But I was sure I had the best hand there, and I bet big to protect my hand and get value.

The way he just flatted my pre-flop raise looked more like an overpair (77-QQ) to the board. He could also have had a really strong draw to straight/flushes, which I am better than 39% by the turn.
57 was not in my mind, even so, I can't go on being afraid of that 1% flopped straight. But I guess I would have to take into account those combos too. I would have never guessed 57o though, just 4 combos of 57s.
Maybe 66 or 44 sure.
Even he had 64, now I am beating him because of the 2nd 3, and it's so much less likely that he has three of a kind since there is only one more 3 available in the deck. (The 3♣: was flipped on the table preflop).

Cheers!

Indeed. If you would Cbet more on the flop the situation would be different on the turn. The pot is 29k before the flop if I see it well. If villain is passive you can make it also 20k or something like that on the flop and than you have less than a pot size bet left. In a situation like that you can even shove the turn.
