Hands 1, 2, 3 and 5 look fine but hand 4 seems far too weak to me.

I normally treat those mini-raises as a check and on that basis might consider pushing with that board. If someone has a pair or completes a flush/straight I think its just bad luck.

A call would definitely be ok for odds and outs too.

@nworb200,

I agree with your view of H's 1,2,3 and 5 but I think OP is right to fold in Hand 4 as played.

We don't have a made hand (top pair, top kicker or better), we are up against 2 opponents - both of whom are showing interest in the pot, and the board is rather drawy.

On the whole, I think our 6 outs here - for a pair - do not justify staying in the hand - we're behind too often already in this spot and there's no evidence we can get both players to fold with a push.

@nuxia: generally your play looks good and solid and in line with the correct strategy so just keep it up and don't be discouraged.

Thanks for your replies....nworb200 and tim64!

About that Hand #4 I was really tempted to stay in the hand, but with that luck I had on that night, I could write off catching anything.
As for the result of that hand, one had trash, the other had middle pair or so.

Arrghh..

@tim64: Thanks for the wishes, however even if i stick to the chart, I really tend to get on the worse end of things, even If I call with better hands. In addition, I tend to be raising, then having to fold and topping up my stack again. Way more often then acutally hitting something.

Hello Nuxia, Welcome!

First of all, I would like to remind you that we (handjudges) prefer 1 or 2 hands per thread. You can make as many threads as you want, that's no problem. The problem with 3++ hands thread is that we lose the overview. This not a benefit for you, as sample hand poster.

Hand 1 is okay played
Hand 2 I would raise to 5bb which is $0.1 and well played folding to a raise against your c-bet

Hand 3 is also well played! =)

Hand 4 is okay played according to the strategy articles BUT if you know that you have to shove anyway postflop OOP on the SB then just shove preflop.
A Thumb of Rule is that whenever you see 3+ limpers in front of you; shove preflop directly ;)

Hand 5 is also solid played but shoving the Flop directly is also not a crime!

Im looking forward to your progress!
