Hello,

I am really not sure how to normally play in such situations. For these blind levels I was thinking that I would prefer to do some pot-control and not get the pot too big by check-raising. Too many turn cards could come that I dont like and Im not sure what Im supposed to do if I check-raised the flop and made the pot bigger and then a scare cards comes OTT (as it did). Not sure if leading is an option either....

I would normally lead the flop for value and protection with top pair decent kicker and re-evaluete on further action.
Now you playing a guessing game out of position and the turn is for villain a good card to bluff on.

Cheers,
