Hi degens,

I will keep my intro short and sweet. Took a long break from poker following a change in life circumstances and less available time.
I was previously a winner in MTTs and Multi Table SNGs at the micro and small stakes over around 10k games on stars and a small UK site over period of about 10 years (I am in my 40s now). Also had a few nice live MTT cashes. I played relatively seriously as a nice side hustle back in the day. Today I have more spare time than I have done for a long time and thought it would be fun to get back to the tables.

My goal is to start with £100 and turn this into £1000 over no specific time period. Although I have more time on my hands I don't want to be locked to the tables for hours on end every day so will probably play a bit of cash and maybe some spin style games. I will also be playing a good amount of sats for tickets into live MTTS but all with in the constraints of BRM (looking at 100 bi but might flex a little for juicy sats).

Expect semi-regular updates, graphs, tilt and maybe some live pictures (if I can qualify).

TLDR: Took a break, back at the tables, £100 - £1000 and play some live MTTs.

Hello ShodanDonk

Welcome on the PokerStrategy forum :welcome:

Maybe the https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=523971 is something for you to participate in.

I see that you are a basic member. Than you can't post links and pictures.
To get a bronze status you can use 1 or more of our free money offers on poker rooms you don’t have an account yet. If it you already have signed in for a room you need to read the instructions well and it can take up to 2 business days before you get the free money. If that's not a option you can buy a status-upgrade.

Good luck with you're challenge :gl:

Cheers,
SDK1987

Welcome back to the poker world! It’s awesome to hear that you’re diving back into the game after a break. With your extensive experience from playing thousands of MTTs and SNGs, plus some impressive live cashes, you’re definitely bringing a lot of skill and insight back to the tables.
Starting with £100 and aiming for £1000 is a great goal. It’s clear you’ve put some thought into how you want to approach this challenge. Balancing cash games, spin-style games, and satellites sounds like a smart strategy, especially since you don’t want to be tied to the tables all day. The flexibility you’re incorporating will help keep things interesting and manageable.
Your plan for bankroll management (BRM) with around 100 buy-ins for your main games, and a bit of leeway for juicy satellites, is solid. It’s important to stick to your BRM to ensure sustainability and avoid unnecessary risks.
Looking forward to your updates! Seeing your progress through graphs, stories of tilt, and maybe even some live pics sounds like it will be a lot of fun. It’s always motivating to follow someone’s journey and see how they handle the ups and downs.
Best of luck with turning that £100 into £1000 and with your live MTT aspirations. It sounds like you’re going to have a great time back in the poker scene!

Cheers and good luck at the tables! 🃏💸📈
