5-card PLO50 Facing Pot-Raise with AA+NFD on the flop

I have not studied 5card ranges but I do know AA is quite bit more selective in preflop 3betting. This trip suit combo has also bad connectivity so I would assume we want to only call pre.

Flop its high cbet board and three spade combo tends to prefer potting if having enough equity to stack off. Though if we split to half and pot we mostly want to half pot with our range. I think hand is bit too strong to fold though problem is that having three spade will force opponent hand toward made hands. We have 47 to invest for pot of 120 so need roughly 40% equity. Versus hand like KQJTx we have 40%. Versus sets it will drop obviously but maybe villain has some KQTxx:ss type stuff which we have like 60% equity. Seems close overall but I dont think we should bet-fold. Might be reasonable to pot as well.

But I would definitely check how AA play preflop wise. Afaik there is quite reasonable difference between 4 and 5 cards.

I just did, I checked out solver and in 5-card and he'd 3bet around 3/4 of AAxx from SB vs BU open so not sure where this belongs to. Triple-suited is nutted but the side-cards are really trashy. Yes, probably not a default 3bet. Indeed I have to be more careful with the hand-selection when it comes to AAxx.

Similar strategy to 4-card I assume. We'd rather pot those (overpair-)combos with triple-suit. Blocking flushdraws (equity) has more weight than the removal effect shifting towards made-hands. The hand is too weak to fall into the half-pot value portion. You are right about the equities, I really don't like the half-pot cbet at all. I'd say Pot-pot as the standard play and occasionally Check-shove vs higher stabs ip.
