I was playing HU against a tilting bad Lag. He already had very aggressive stats (90/40/20) with high barrel frequencies in 3bp's oop (60% otf and 100% ott) and was on monkey tilt. Raising the flop to deny equity could have make sense in since I would have folded out some hands that have equity but also isolate myself against better hands (?).

River: (€42.10) K♣ (2 players, 1 all-in)
Total pot: €42.10 (Rake: €0.50)

(Equity - Pre-Flop: 57%, Flop: 40%, Turn: 16%, River: 0%)
BB wins €41.60
As he double-barreled everything I called, the decision was somehow made up otf already with ranges being wide. I am still wondering if it would have more sense to wait for a better hand since a single pair is actually a very weak hand in 5-card and the stacks were so deep. What made me call is the straight blocker, the rank of my overpair and probably decent equity against his overly extended bluffing range. As turned out he was bluffing indeeed an OESD but luckily hit a set ott.
