GGPOKER PLEASE IMPLEMENT DIGITAL iD RECOGNITiOn
•Ir saves you adding to your own code base when more code ANY

Good day my PokerStrategy folks and those GG reps that are listening these days (if he hasn't moved on/,been replaced..... 🙏hoping not!)

So an idea struck me today - no, not the fist/car/eock that caused me to wake in hospital 21 days ago with no memory of how I got there, no wallet. No backpack, no mobile (cell) phone. Basically, I lost everything. Now luckily my bank cards had not even been accessed and my mobile has not been switched on since.

I was able to track my location history but to no avail (so far)

Anyway, this leads me to my question(s) - as I'm setting up GGPoier app on another mobile device - I have PC version so wasn't without a poker game meantime, has the GGPoker team thought of using Online Digital ID to compliment their existing hard copy ID system.

● mygovscot is used by many Scottish and local government services, and kne of its ID verification servi es is called YOTI. I'm NOT affiliated to them before you ask. I JUS

just find it so useful and I know since I've lost my driving licence and don't have a passport. IM NOT going to be able to re-instate my gg account upon expiry of a year, unless they allow this online IDS!

I use an ID app called Yoti, which is approved by the UK government and their preferred form of ID when applying for Social Security Benefit, for example.

Since I had a Yoti, and it saves ab encrypted backup to one's Google kr Apple drove, once logged into the same account as your lost device, you recover your ID documents with minimum fuss!

The process of creating your Yoti digital ID is not dissimilR fo how GG do it - upload driving licence, passport, Citizen Card AGE PASS CARD, also other approved government issued ID cards and also allow for professional sponsor in support of your ID, doctor, social Work etc.

Here is the Social Security Scotland Adult Disabilty payment process, detailing online registration:

They use.a system called myaccount
To quote the digi-udentity site (I MUCH prefer Yoti but this text sums up eell):

However the smart card you create when setting up your Digidentity account is virtual. The Digidentity smart card still allows for electronic authorisation but instead of it being physically stored, it is stored in the ¹Digidentity Wallet app, providing you access to authorise your Qualified Electronic Signature. You can view your smart card under 'Log In' in your Digidentity Wallet app.

The point I raise this, is that it means from GG perspective the hard work is already done! And when/if I need to submit new ID to GG as seems to ve the case each year, I can send them my Yoti ID digital card, backed by my government and more reliable than some hard copy (might be forged).

I dealt with this after a phone theft. Got back into gaming and banking apps because I’d set up a digital ID. Re-verified with selfie + NFC passport in minutes, no mailing docs. Poker sites that plug into approved providers avoid lockouts when you lose physical ID.
