Villain is reggy player. Usually somewhat on tighter and more conservative side it seems.

Anyway preflop is standard 3bet. Flop I was just going for x-f as I dont think we have enough to warrant bet.

Turn I think we can go both ways of betting 3/4-pot or going for x-r. Perhaps versus this player I should have just bet myself and maybe thats more sensible being bit deeper. I think with 100bb its kinda nice to x-r as if we bet ourself and get raised we actually get into bit stupid spot. With bit deeper stacks though its not as bad and x-r forces to call versus shove.

But yeah this player might not do that much stabs to be honest. Now my hand doesnt mind to take free card so thats also fine for check.

Everything misses on river and I will have fair amount of overpairs and some straights. Plus some slowplayed made hands trying to x-r earlier streets so went for half pot.

I agree with your thoughts about the turn situation, seeing the freecard is not that bad either indeed, most regs are probably not aggressive enough either when being in a 3bp ip against another reg (understandbly).

Probing River makes sense. Not sure what's your general sizing strategy here, solver prefers having 2 sizings so I assume you'd bet pot aswell with some hands? With pure bluffs you could go either way, hard to say much as there is no clear blocker or sidecard pattern but you'd have to have your frequencies right so you need a randomizing system ( I use suits to do this like first wholecard having a club equals 25% etc..). Also I did simplify Delays, Probes and Super-delays/probes towards betting 3/4pot only (and pot in SRP).

I like to use this smallish sizing only in river in this spot. Reason being opponent range is very capped. Occasionally he will have some straight (mainly A3) or perhaps some weaker two pair combo he wanted to pot control. But I think those are pretty rare and mainly his showdown value hands will be some KK, Qx single pair and weaker. So versus this range I will have hard time to get value with pot sizing anyway. With half pot I can value bet AA and even KK. Plus good side of single size approach is automatic balance as I will also have strong hands in there.

Though if facing river raise it is really about villain having straight or bluff.
