Hello guys,

what do you think of the river play? Do we also need a T blocker to bluff raise here?

Or maybe it's better to make such play on flush+straight completing rivers?

Thank you for your comments.

First question I would think of what does opponent value range look here? Even with half pot villain probably can't value bet third nut straight? So it would be nuts or 2nd nuts. His line kinda screams wrap potting flop (4way) and checking turn. If he had set or top 2 with support I would expect to see turn barrel. So I think we are very often running into nuts or 2nd nuts and QT combo is just way more likely to pot flop than T7.

QQ is probably best component to bluff here (as we want opponent to be value betting weaker straight) but it could make more sense to use smaller sizing. E.g. if we have nuts here what is our chance of getting called by weaker when we shove?

But yeah to me this feels optimistic bluff as in 6 card opponent just has so easy time to show up with QT.

In 6 card PLO pair blockers to straight are WAY LESS valuable than in normal PLO. I learned it the hard way myself.
