Uhm you never leave, unless you feel like it... you just rebuy or watch your stack grow.

I like to leave as soon as I'm sitting with 4 buy in's though, people seem to give you less action when you're very very deep.

You have a negative mindset.........you should be asking when to leave after 'winning how many' not after you've lost.
Leave , when you are not comfortable playing anymore.
That means you have big stack (about 2-3 BI) and there is someone, who can take it all from you. Or when you have lost much there and think you are on tilt (then you should close all tables). And ofcourse put auto-rebuy to max on.
Oh and btw you should be auto rebuying/topping up everytime you lose at least 1bb
